With distinctive foliage, the Fern Footed Crocodyllus adds instant texture and interest to indoor plant displays. You may also see it labeled as Microsorum musifolium, commonly known as the Crocodile Fern, Alligator Fern, or sometimes the Crocodylus Fern, named for its distinctive, bumpy leaf texture that resembles crocodile scales.
Unique, clumping tropical fern known for its strap-like, evergreen leaves with dark green, textured patterns resembling crocodile skin, thriving indoors with bright, indirect light, high humidity (60-90%), average watering (letting soil dry slightly), and warm temperatures (65-85°F). It's an epiphytic fern (grows on trees) that's pet-safe and a great houseplant for adding an exotic touch. Fern with creeping rhizomes (“feet”) often visible on soil surface.
